Job Overview

This job involves working as a skilled professional in the power industry, responsible for efficiently cleaning and maintaining power plant equipment. The role requires traveling to various locations across the country, working independently and in a team environment.

This is a 100% traveling job, throughout the US, overnight.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain power plant condensers and heat exchangers by manually removing deposits with water pump systems and assorted tube cleaners.
  • Monitor pressure gauge readings to identify changes in pressure from water pump systems.
  • Lift, transport, assemble, disassemble, carry or otherwise move and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs when loading/unloading vehicles and setting up at job sites.
  • Inventory trailers to ensure readiness after each job.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed (i.e. generator and compressor).
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols outlined in Conco's Safety Policies & Procedure Manual.
Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Able to travel nationwide with short notice.
  • Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment on the job site.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments.
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions.
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery safely.
  • Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks such as wiring, assembling or troubleshooting equipment.
  • Driving for extended periods to custom sites, sometimes in remote locations.
  • Working in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces, attics or utility areas.
  • Awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
Work Environment

The work environment involves remote or industrial locations, such as oil rigs, refineries or industrial plants. Employees may be exposed to loud noise, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials. Rotational schedules and extended shifts are common. Safety is a top priority, with rigorous training protocols and personal protective equipment provided to mitigate risks.

Employees will spend time traveling between job sites, working outdoors in varying weather conditions including rain, heat, and cold. This job requires adaptability and flexibility.
