Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing credit, market, liquidity, and interest rate risks within the bank's risk management framework.
  • Reviewing and updating risk management policies to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
  • Leading the risk management team and working closely with senior management to develop risk strategies and protect the bank's asset quality.
  • Overseeing the identification, measurement, and monitoring of key risks, ensuring compliance with the bank's risk appetite.
  • Acting as Secretary of the Risk Oversight and Internal Control Committee, ensuring material risks are reported and corrective actions are taken.
  • Cultivating a strong risk management culture by providing clear policies, procedures, and training to staff across all departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the banking industry, with 5+ years specifically in risk management.
  • Strong expertise in credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, IRRBB, and other risk areas.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a risk management team and guiding cross-functional business units.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
