Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a senior solution engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and support to our customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. You will also work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.

You will maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing.

Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering (tech pre-sales) role
  • Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science and data apps
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (Python knowledge would be a bonus)
