We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Financial Management Specialist. This is a full-time remote position that requires a stable internet connection and availability during European or US time zones.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring bill and invoice processing, including entry, filing, reconciliations, variance resolution, and discrepancies. They will also process purchase orders, build relationships with vendors, and maintain accurate financial and vendor records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and track invoices, bills, and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including vendor information
  • Analyze and resolve variances and discrepancies in financial data
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth processes
  • Prepare monthly expenditures reports comparing actual vs. budgeted amounts
  • Develop and implement departmental process improvements for reporting purposes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance
  • Ability to multitask and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Punctual and self-driven with excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience with online accounting software; Xero is an advantage but not required
