As a Application Maintenance Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Sophis platform. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch application support services, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and implementing changes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to enhance system reliability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as you will need to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective resolutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ITIL service management principles and practices, including incident, problem, and change management. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will interact with various stakeholders, including end-users, subject matter experts, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support: Provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues related to the Sophis platform.
  • End-User Support: Offer assistance to internal end-users through various communication channels.
  • Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as SOx and GDPR.
  • Automation: Assist in the implementation of automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In computer science or a related field with a strong IT background.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in application support, preferably in the banking domain.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SQL programming, scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, VBA, Python), and continuous delivery tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
