The Security Operations Center (SOC) at JTI is looking for a highly skilled analyst to join our team in Manila. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a team of experts who are passionate about cybersecurity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, including low and medium-level incidents. They will assess, triage, categorize, and prioritize these events, escalating them to higher tiers when necessary.

In this role, you will derive immediate mitigation measures for containment, eradication, and recovery of security events, track progress, and coordinate incident response task forces with different IT functions and end-users. You will also estimate the scope of impacted assets and ensure that remediation is properly addressed.

To succeed in this position, you will need 1 year of experience in information security or 2 years of experience in system or network administration. Knowledge of information security principles and best practices is essential, as well as familiarity with tools and techniques used in incident detection and response.
