Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Audit Specialist. This role will involve providing independent and objective assurance services to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auditing and risk management, with a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field. They should be able to perform complex audits, assess controls, and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Operational Duties:
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for review.
    • Develop audit plans and execute work programs.
    • Evaluate internal controls and assess their design and operating effectiveness.
    • Prepare audit working papers and gather evidence to support observations and conclusions.
  • Financial Duties:
    • Test and monitor the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
    • Evaluate the financial implications of control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
    • Communicate results and ensure remediation of noted deficiencies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Customer-facing Duties:
    • Advise and educate process owners on risk assessments and internal controls.
    • Built business partnerships through effective communication and review of policies and procedures.
  • People Management:
    • Guide project teams to develop knowledge and skills.
    • Utilize proper tools and address challenges encountered during project completion.

Requirements:

  • College graduate in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of auditing experience, preferably with 2 years in a supervisory role.
