Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Position
Overview of the Role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a critical role in our organization, responsible for leading the budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling processes to support strategic decisions and resource allocation. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights, drive process improvements, and implement automation using tools like NetSuite and Power BI.

Responsibilities of the Role
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, ROI modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and IT, to align financial planning with business strategy.
  • Manage commissions processes, sales pipeline reporting, and prequalification analysis in collaboration with Sales.
  • Partner with IT to implement automation and enhanced financial reporting using NetSuite, Power BI, and dashboards.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support month-end close activities to ensure alignment of actuals with budget and forecast.

Requirements for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis, ideally in a leadership or senior-level role.
  • Proven expertise in using ERP and analytics tools (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI).
  • CPA or MBA certification is an asset.
  • Strong leadership presence and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
