Job Title: Senior Design Services Leader

Job Overview

The Operations Manager-Design Services role oversees the Network Planning Team, managing project resourcing, team performance, and ensuring delivery of high-quality design outputs. This operational and people-focused position requires someone who can lead through influence, coach and mentor leaders, and guarantee successful projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage 3–6 senior Design Team Leads to achieve team objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members while implementing onboarding and continuous training programs.
  • Conduct performance assessments, provide regular feedback, and take appropriate actions for underperforming employees.
  • Manage workload distribution to ensure quality outputs for stakeholder projects.

Additional Key Tasks:

  • Establish project resourcing processes to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Assign tasks based on team members' strengths and expertise.
  • Build business cases for team growth and oversee effective recruitment and onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards and implement quality control measures.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Operations Management experience in Telecommunications FTTx network design and engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Able to thrive in collaborative environments and work across departments to align goals and deliver results.
