Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to craft detailed proposals and bids for audio-visual projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in audio-visual systems, including Sonos and complex AV setups with automated shades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive proposals for audio-visual projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications
- Develop bids for projects, from basic Sonos setups to high-end AV systems with automated shades
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure project feasibility and profitability
- Perform cost estimations for labor, materials, and equipment to support bidding processes
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify project requirements and timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in the related field is preferred
- Proficiency in project estimation, proposal writing, and bidding processes
- Experience in audio-visual systems, including Sonos and complex AV setups with automated shades (training provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and project management software
