Key to unlocking business efficiency lies in streamlining operational workflows. A highly skilled Automation Specialist is needed to serve as the backbone of our automation efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on process optimization, system integration, and empowering teams to work smarter. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and various APIs (JIRA, Basecamp, and others).

The ideal candidate is a systems-minded individual with a strong focus on data accuracy and workflow reliability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
  • Building and maintaining automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  • Connecting and synchronizing Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • Developing and managing Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • Creating and managing API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
  • Monitoring automated workflows, troubleshooting errors, and optimizing performance for reliability and scalability.
  • Maintaining clear documentation for all automations and providing training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration).
  • Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
  • Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
