Support Supervisor Position

Seeking a Supportive and Organised Individual to Cover Teacher Absences.

This is a contract role working on a day-to-day basis at an outstanding secondary school in Wigan. The ideal candidate will be able to manage classroom activity, ensuring students stay focused on the tasks provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom activity to keep students on task
  • Adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
  • No formal qualifications are required, but you must have good communication skills and the confidence to manage a classroom
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances

  • Applicants are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV covering your last 10 years of employment history, explaining any gaps in employment
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Will be required to attend a registration interview
