Cover Supervisor

Contract role recruited via Veritas (London, UK). Closing date: September 28, 2025. Location: Wigan, United Kingdom. Daily Rate: £90-£100 (dependent on experience).

About this job

We are looking for a flexible and confident Cover Supervisor to work on a day-to-day basis at an outstanding secondary school in Wigan. You will supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure students stay on task with the work provided.

• Supervise classes during teacher absences and manage classroom activity to keep students on task
• Support a positive and calm classroom environment
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

• No formal qualifications required
• Supportive and welcoming school environment
• Ideal for individuals with good communication skills and the confidence to manage a classroom

• All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with safeguarding policy
• Your CV should cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and explain any employment gaps
• You must have legal right to work in the UK
• You must be willing to attend a registration interview
