Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Client Reporting: Provide regular reporting to clients on their financial performance, highlighting areas of improvement and suggesting strategies for growth.
  • General Accounting Procedures: Perform general accounting procedures, including data entry, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CPA/CA qualified or willingness to study preferred).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
  • High-level Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM.
  • Keen attention to detail, time management, and accounting administration skills.
