
Service Department Leader

The Fire Alarm Service Manager is a critical position responsible for leading the service department and ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.
- Answer the service number and assist customers with fire alarm-related inquiries, utilizing effective communication skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Respond to off-hours answering service calls, guaranteeing emergency service needs are met, and provide timely notifications to customers regarding service status.
- Schedule service calls based on priority and availability, maximizing resource efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- Coordinate and schedule technicians, ensuring the efficient deployment of resources, and assess fire alarm system issues remotely to determine whether a technician needs to be dispatched.
- Provide customers with timely updates on service status, and make informed decisions on which technician to schedule based on the complexity of the issue.
- Maintain detailed service records, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance overall service quality.
