Reporting to the Senior Manager, this individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, creating visualizations, and recommending process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves:

  1. Maintaining and improving databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  2. Supporting business systems evaluation and recommending process enhancements.
  3. Coding and re-coding data to refine analytical outputs.
  4. Interpreting raw data to identify trends and insights.
  5. Developing visualizations, such as dashboards and flowcharts, to communicate findings effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Educational background: Bachelor's degree.
  2. Proficient in SQL for data extraction, storage, processing, and analysis, with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  3. Experience with databases such as Oracle and Snowflake.
  4. Familiarity with SQL client software, DB, ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Data Services), and command scripts.
  5. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Access for querying, table creation, and formula application.
  7. Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  8. Ability to transform raw data into meaningful visual representations (charts, graphs, dashboards).
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey insights effectively.
  11. Ability to develop narratives and present findings using data-driven storytelling.
  12. Comfortable presenting reports and insights to senior colleagues and stakeholders.
  13. Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment and work independently when needed.
