About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Training Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our instructional design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective training content that meets the needs of our employees.

Job Description

The Training Content Developer position is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of creative and technical skills. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop training courses, including instructor-led and online delivery.

You will also be responsible for assessing the current state of training content across our accounts and driving improvements, creativity, and innovation in the way training content is displayed and distributed. Additionally, you will collaborate with partners and across the enterprise to ensure that our training content is consistent and effective.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with creative use of instructional design technologies
  • Expertise in adult learning and all aspects of instructional design for various formats, including instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and performance support
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience using Instructional Design software such as Storyline and Captivate
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience with mobile devices, tablets, computers, digital cameras, televisions, home audio, and/or appliances preferred
  • Understanding of next generation technologies related to cloud, mobile, social, or big data
  • Experience with administrative duties including submitting IT tickets and managing data
  • 2+ years' experience applying instructional design and adult learning methodologies to development and implementation of web-based training and other instructional materials
