Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant with strong expertise in Xero, a solid understanding of UK accounting principles and practices, and experience with UK payroll software and HMRC processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage clients' financial records efficiently using Xero.
  • Have working knowledge of UK payroll systems and software (HMRC knowledge is a plus).
  • Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Prepare accounts up to the trial balance stage, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Utilize tools such as Dext, Xero, and Precision for financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to gather necessary financial information.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong expertise in Xero.
  • A solid understanding of UK accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with UK payroll software and HMRC processes is preferred.
