Job Opportunity: Database Architect

We are seeking a skilled database architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and evolving relational data models and database architecture.

You will write performant, maintainable code to power business logic and data flows, contribute to refactoring and optimization of existing DB structures and processes, and collaborate closely with BI, backend, and product teams to shape how our applications work.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and evolve relational data models and database architecture
  • Write performant, maintainable code to power business logic and data flows
  • Contribute to refactoring and optimization of existing DB structures and processes
  • Collaborate closely with BI, backend, and product teams to shape how our applications work
  • Implement automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for database development
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in relational database development (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows
  • Good understanding of database performance and storage optimization
  • Working knowledge of Linux environment
  • Bonus points for scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD is a plus)
  • Experience with Docker and microservices is a strong plus
  • Fluent communicating in English (written & spoken)
