Role Description:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the FP&A Manager by conducting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities to inform management decisions and optimize financial performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a budget utilization report comparing operational and administrative budgets to actual results on a weekly and monthly basis to identify areas of concern.
  • Assist various departments with completing yearly budget requests and justifications, and consolidate Company Financial and Operating budgets for Management and Board of Directors' approval.
  • Monitor budget versus actual figures and collaborate with department heads to develop strategies to maximize budget efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and align financial analysis with overall corporate objectives.
  • Review purchase requisitions, including CAPEX, verifying if the budget is sufficient and proper charge codes are identified and used.
  • Work with the FP&A Manager to review and analyze budget performance, including a review of actual and budgeted expenses.
  • Develop profit and loss segmental reports and financial models, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business planning and decision-making of Department Heads and Management.
  • Extract and analyze data in the NAV system.
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the same capacity/position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy or finance-related courses.
  • Proven working experience in finance or a similar role in a corporate setting.
  • Knowledgeable in using computerized Accounting Systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and collaboratively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
