Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting and financial operations of our growing business.

The Accounting Specialist will report to the Senior Manager and collaborate closely with other members of the accounting team. He/she will play a key role in maintaining general ledgers, preparing account reconciliations, and managing bank activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Record and categorize transactions across multiple entities using Yardi software.">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers and prepare account reconciliations on a timely basis.">
  • Manage bank activity, including initiating, tracking, and confirming intercompany and external transfers and wires.">
  • Process payments and disbursements efficiently and accurately.">
  • Reconcile corporate credit card activity and ensure accurate expense tracking.">
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable activity across properties and entities.">
  • Assist with entity-level financial statement preparation and monthly close procedures.">
  • Support other members of the accounting team with cross-functional initiatives.">
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries with timely and accurate financial data.">
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Senior Manager or Controller.">

Required Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.">
  • Prior experience in real estate, CT, or multi-entity environment a plus.">
  • Experience with Yardi software strongly preferred.">
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.">
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail essential.">
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary.">
