Job Title: Business Development Director - Land Planning

Land planning is a key area in urban development, requiring expertise in civil engineering and technical project management.

Role Description
  • Verify and sign off on milestone deliveries of projects and tasks, communicating concerns with regional teams as necessary.
  • Ensure project delivery within the team adheres to management systems, meeting time, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Engage with senior leaders on technical matters related to land planning and development.
  • Develop and implement new digital tools for urban development projects, focusing on capability development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term requirements for skills and capabilities within the service discipline, identifying gaps between current and future needs.
  • Help build organizational competence and additional skills to support growth, efficiency, effectiveness, and scale.
  • Assist in developing sufficient technical leadership across the service discipline to attract high-quality work from various regions.
  • Collaborate with BIM and design automation leads to develop automated solutions and digital tools.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fields.
  • Prepare, review, and update urban design plans and civil engineering works for various types of projects.
  • At least 15 years of experience working on civil-type projects.
  • Strong English language skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, a willingness to learn, and a supportive attitude.
  • Willingsness to work abroad for certain periods.
  • Knowledgeable in Civil 3D and Navisworks software.
  • 2D and/or 3D design of technical plans for residential or industrial areas.
  • Development and implementation of new digital solutions on urban development projects.
  • Familiarity with North American urban design standards.
