Job Description

This is a senior finance role that requires the candidate to have experience in management accounting, cash flow and treasury, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and expenses, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. They will also assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, support internal and external audits through accurate record keeping and reporting, and ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.

The candidate should have a broad experience in finance roles within companies adhering to US or UK GAAP. They should also have a track record of process improvement and automation in finance functions, strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and general ledger maintenance, excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy.

They must be proactive, solution-focused, and have a collaborative spirit. The ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Supporting internal and external audits through accurate record keeping and reporting
  • Ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Broad experience in finance roles within companies adhering to US or UK GAAP
  • Track record of process improvement and automation in finance functions
  • Strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and general ledger maintenance
  • Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CPA)

The desirable candidate should have:

  • Knowledge of either UK & US GAAP standards
  • Experience with expense systems and cloud-based finance tools
