Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Neurology and Allergy practices to verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility ensuring smooth billing and claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits for Neurology and Allergy services.
  • Audit and update insurance information in our electronic medical records system.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to confirm benefits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with providers, billing, and front-office staff to ensure accurate claims processing.
  • Assist in resolving prior authorization and referral requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in insurance verification.
  • Background in Neurology and Allergy specialties preferred.
  • Proficiency in our electronic medical records software required.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare insurance plans, coverage, and policies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
