Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Role

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing robust test automation solutions using your in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Lead the planning of testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment with project goals.
  • Test Case Development: Independently design, develop, and implement automated test strategies and test cases with minimal supervision.
  • Debugging: Use debugging techniques to identify root causes of complex issues uncovered through automated testing.
  • Bug Reporting: Accurately document bugs with essential details using the bug tracking system effectively.
  • Version Control (Git): Manage and track changes in code repositories efficiently.
  • Programming Languages: Utilize intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, and TypeScript to write test scripts or understand code for test automation.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high attention to detail to identify even minor issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze root causes of defects found during testing and make recommendations to prevent similar problems in the future.
  • Communication Skills: Report issues effectively and collaborate with the development team.
  • Automation Strategy: Identify opportunities for automation within assigned testing areas, propose enhancements to the overall automation strategy, and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in automation testing tools and best practices.
