Software Engineer, Developer Tooling and Containers

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to work on a new open-source developer experience tool. This role involves designing the user experience of new capabilities in the tool, writing high-quality code to create new features, and ensuring correctness and robustness of work for diverse use cases.

The ideal candidate will have professional software development experience using Go, Python, C, or C++, as well as knowledge of Linux system-level fundamentals, such as cgroups and namespaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Design the user experience of new capabilities in the tool.

Requirements:
  • Professional software development experience using Go, Python, C, or C++.
  • Knowledge of Linux system-level fundamentals, such as cgroups and namespaces.
  • Curiosity, thoughtfulness, articulateness, and accountability.
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
