Job Description
  • The Allocator & Store Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely product allocations to retail stores, while also identifying sales opportunities through data analysis.
  • This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role requiring strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to stock management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Allocation: Allocate inventory to stores based on agreed schedules (e.g., state-by-state allocation by day).
  • Adjust allocations in response to sales trends, events, and environmental factors (e.g., weather-driven demand spikes).
  • Monitor sales performance at store level and highlight replenishment opportunities.
  • Support planners with actionable insights to optimise stock turns.
Retail Support
  • Ensure promotional stock is allocated and monitored to maximise sell-through.
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to expedite urgent orders when required.
Data Management
  • Maintain accuracy of allocation data within planning tools.
  • Produce regular allocation and sales performance reports.

This role requires a strong analytical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in allocations, replenishment, or retail analytics and be proficient in using ERP systems for inventory management.

Key responsibilities include stock limit management, promotion support, and excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work under pressure, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
