Business Systems Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that our business systems are aligned with our strategic objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, develop comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), and present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse the current and future business environment and systems landscape.
  • Gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive BRDs that are clear, unambiguous, and suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.
  • Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management.
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation).
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure).
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
