Role Summary

We are currently seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in finance and work with a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data from Xero, creating and maintaining Excel-based models, including three-way forecasting.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycle.
  • Manage intercompany journals, transactions, and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Consolidate financial reports across various regions.
  • Reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data, ensuring accuracy in recurring revenue streams.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering confidence and clarity around financial numbers.
  • Prepare SaaS metrics reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within finance processes.
Qualifications
  • CA or CPA qualification with experience in Australia or New Zealand.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close processes, end-to-end.
  • Intercompany accounting and reporting experience.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience with SaaS or subscription revenue models.
Skills
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and deliver reliably.
