Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Software Project Manager to lead our software development projects from planning to implementation.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining project goals, timelines, and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and required resources.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and support to complete their work on time and to a high standard.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the software developed by the team meets the required quality standards.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience in Jira administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
