Job Title: Security Assurance Leader

This role will lead and manage the Security Assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • We oversee external audits, collaborate with auditors, and assess gaps in security controls.
  • You will develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks, influencing our organization's security strategy.
  • Develop security standards and policies aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate our security posture.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure coherent security practices.
  • Review change management requests to ensure alignment with compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security compliance requirements in contracts.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, focusing on assurance and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS.
  • Proven experience managing external audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, prioritizing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with compliance software and external audit portals.
