Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Operations Team Lead to manage our team's workflow and ensure seamless processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of law firm billing practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the parsing inbox and respond to internal emails in a timely manner
  • Maintain a list of exception information and ensure team compliance with those exceptions
  • Escalate urgent parsing issues to the Parsing Manager
  • Oversee the TX Freeze Project invoice submission workflow
  • Add new parsing firms to T360 using CIS form
  • Create timekeepers in T360 under the parsing company
  • Request ITP rules relaxation as needed
  • Parsers review rejected invoices and respond accordingly
  • Work closely with the Parsing Manager as needed
  • Provide guidance and training to the parsing team on workflows
  • Act as initial SME to review incoming parsing assignments and submitted invoices
  • Create and update intake forms for all countries served
  • Receive intake forms from claim handlers to set up parsing matters in T360
  • Review intake forms and emails for processing information
  • Assign vendors to the appropriate claim using intake information
  • Add or update rate agreements in T360
  • Parses requests for electronic conversion to our TPA partner
  • QA all invoices that fail submission for correction and submits into T360
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of law firm billing practices is critical
  • Strong computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft products (especially Excel)
  • Experience in data management and billing platforms (e.g., T360) is a plus
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills are required
  • Strong leadership skills to drive process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work across departments to influence others
  • Experience in insurance claims handling is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
