Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Back-End Developer (Python), you'll design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs that power scalable, high-performing applications.

  • You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API integrations, reliable infrastructure, and efficient workflows that support innovative software solutions.
  • You'll implement observability practices using tools like Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • You'll work with PostgreSQL and PostGIS for advanced SQL and geospatial data management.
  • You'll develop and deploy solutions within AWS environments (API Gateway, Lambda, Serverless Stack).
  • You'll ensure adherence to agile methodologies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements

You should have 5 years of backend software development experience, including building public-facing API products.

  • You should bring strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
  • You should be highly proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in geospatial extensions like PostGIS.
  • You should have hands-on experience working with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
  • You should be familiar with microservices architecture and event-driven technologies like webhooks.
Nice to Have

You can highlight any experience with frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular, or familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX prototyping tools.
