Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on backend systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend systems, including RESTful APIs, databases, and messaging services. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, design patterns, and concurrency. Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and IT risk management is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure backend systems
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and messaging services
  • Develop automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team through mentorship and technical guidance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java 8 or higher (Java 11 or higher preferred)
  • Knowledge of Linux and scripting
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps preferred) and build tools (Maven)
  • Competency in Spring and Spring Boot
  • Experience in code versioning tools (Git)
  • Experience in Test Automation (JUnit, Mockito)
  • Working knowledge of RESTful API Development
  • Effective Communication
