Job Title: Private Equity Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to private equity fund clients.

About the Role:
  • Manage transaction preparation and processing for private equity fund clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Generate financial reports for review, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Assist clients and investors by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries, providing clear and concise information.
  • Review calculations for fees, including management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfall structures, ensuring compliance with fund agreements.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions, maintaining open and transparent relationships.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports with accounting standards, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Support year-end audits by helping clients respond to external auditors' inquiries, providing necessary documentation and evidence.
  • Aid in onboarding new funds and launching existing ones by defining customized service models, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes, driving business growth and productivity.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in accounting principles, with at least 6 years of experience in a related field. Familiarity with various accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP, is highly valued. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
