Enterprise Identity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IAS and IPS, as well as a strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth, SCIM, and identity federation principles.

They will work closely with stakeholders to integrate IAS with SAP cloud applications such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, and others.

Achieving this requires the ability to troubleshoot authentication issues, sync failures, and federation errors across platforms.

This role involves staying current on SAP CIS enhancements and roadmap.

• Design and implement SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) to support authentication, user provisioning, and federation across cloud and hybrid SAP environments.
• Configure single sign-on (SSO) using SAML 2.0 between IAS and corporate IdPs (such as Azure AD, Jumpcloud, Okta).
• Integrate IAS with SAP cloud applications such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, and others.
• Set up identity provisioning flows using IPS for automated user lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues, sync failures, and federation errors across platforms.

Key qualifications include:

• Good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• At least 1–2 years hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS and IPS).
• Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth, SCIM, and identity federation principles.
• Experience integrating IAS with Azure AD or other enterprise identity providers.
• Familiarity with user lifecycle processes and user role provisioning for SAP cloud systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and stakeholder communication abilities.
• SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA Cloud project experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in multi-cultural work environment.
• Sound understanding of business process, industry nuances and leading practices in area of focus.
• Ability to facilitate effective workshops to lead target state design.
• Demonstrated excellence in conceiving and executing SAP solution.
