Job Summary:

As a valued member of our team at Solid Lyndelle Manpower Services Inc., we are seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining our current and new network infrastructure and security solutions, ensuring seamless support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for periodically evaluating and driving the architecture and plan for future enhancements of the network environment.

• Oversee the evaluation and selection of new products and services to meet the company's needs.

• Lead active projects, including developing plans and schedules, interfacing with vendors, training personnel, acquiring hardware/software, and team management.

• Create best practice technical architecture models using industry and technical trends.

• Identify and evaluate technical architecture to ensure solutions meet business requirements and performance goals.

• Administer complex Firewall and IPS rule bases under change management, leading the implementation of business-critical changes or upgrades/updates.

• Document all diagrams, policies, and procedures for newly deployed systems and review annually.

• Provide product lifecycle support for platforms owned by the group, monitoring for new patches, releases, and hotfixes, and working with vendors as needed.

• Collaborate with regional operations teams to ensure the networking environment is actively monitored and issues are addressed promptly.

• Work with approved vendors when ordering equipment, services, or renewing maintenance.

• Resolve technical issues with vendor support teams as required.

• Audit and review system logs for issues and remedy or escalate as needed.

• Work with the security team to highlight and investigate incidents.

• Provide 2nd-level support for all firewall and IPS incidents.

• Lead Disaster Recovery activities owned by the group.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, COE, or ECE.

• 10+ years of overall experience, including:
- CCNA required
- CCNP preferred, with option for training/exam
- Azure AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner required

• Experience working with technical trends to assess the future direction of technology.

• Project management skills.

• Willingness to be on-call after shift or outside work hours.

• Willingness to work onsite 4-5 days a week in our offices in McKinley, Taguig, and Ortigas.

Competencies/Skills:

• Technical: in-depth understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and addressing concepts, with operational and deployment experience with firewalls and exposure to VPNs on those platforms. Preference for experience with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco IPS platforms. Pluses for experience in performance monitoring, WAN optimization, DMZ deployment environments, Linux, and network switching.

• Critical thinking: ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, and make well-thought-out recommendations.

• Security standards: proponent of a monitored environment, promoting adherence to processes and standards encompassing data and infrastructure security, comfortable working within a change management system, and proactive approach to life cycle management.

• Teamwork: collaborative environment within and across IT teams.

• Communications skills: effective oral and written communication, presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical staff, and producing business-presentable documentation for all change and project-related work.

• Project management: organized, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, coordinating with other teams to ensure project workflow is effectively communicated.
