FP&A Specialist Role Overview

We seek an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis specialist to play a key role in driving financial strategy and performance across our operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, accounting, and data analysis, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. They will be responsible for building and improving divisional and corporate budgets, creating regular and ad-hoc reports, and providing insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve financial performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of financial reporting experience, with a focus on business analysis and data analysis.
  • Skills: Financial statement production and analysis, knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure, and experience working with technical teams.
