Job Description

MegaXcess IT Solutions Inc. is a leader in software innovation. We seek an experienced Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, developing applications based on system requirements, implementing software design, and testing software components' modules.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research and design new applications based on system requirements.
  2. Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance system performance.
  3. Maintain the system by monitoring, identifying, and correcting software defects.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to execute projects effectively.
  5. Assist in software development tasks as required.
  6. Regularly update software to meet customer and company needs.
  7. Efficiently troubleshoot coding issues to ensure productivity.
  8. Participate in project activities based on assigned roles.
  9. Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to stay ahead in the industry.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Experience in software platforms across multiple organizational units.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience developing and implementing software applications.
  3. Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  4. Good problem-solving skills.
  5. Experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML5/6, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript.
  6. Functional knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed.
  7. Experience with responsive development is desired.
  8. Familiarity with frameworks like ReactJS, JQuery, and Laravel.
  9. Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper) and version control systems like Git or TFS is a plus.
  10. Able to analyze code for weaknesses and errors, and present detailed plans to improve them.
  11. Experience in various databases such as MySQL/MSSQL/Oracle is a plus.
