A systems architect designs and oversees the implementation of complex systems and infrastructure solutions within an organization. These professionals possess a deep understanding of both hardware and software components and work to ensure that the systems architecture aligns with the organization's strategic goals and requirements.

Systems architects collaborate with management, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, assess existing systems, and develop architecture designs that meet current and future needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering
  • Understand the desired business or departmental strategy and outcome.
  • Break down those outcomes into defined parts including products, processes, and functions.
  • Decide on the right architecture to achieve what they have defined.
  • Understand software, hardware, and user interactions, integrations, and interfaces.
  • Advise project teams on implementing their recommended solutions.
  • Examine an overall design.
  • Provide the steps for creation.
  • Define the systems requirements for an entire organization.
  • Identify operational limitations and create solutions.
  • Regularly maintain the IT systems across multiple locations.
  • Fix systems issues by performing damage control and diagnoses.
  • Identify new solutions and system upgrades.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience with computer servers, network switches, load balancers, network analyzers, and network channel or data service units.
  • Knowledge of developing strategic system architecture plans.
  • Solid understanding of network and system development and deployment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.
  • Experience with information processing fundamentals and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, especially when under pressure.
  • Above-average leadership and collaboration abilities.
  • Programming a plus but not required.
  • Open source and Linux experience is a plus.
  • Must be residing in Manila or willing to be assigned in this area.
  • Can start immediately.
