Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a Business Insights Specialist to drive business growth through data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

The Business Insights Specialist will play a key role in defining analytical requirements, delivering insights, and enabling stakeholders to ask better questions and explore answers using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
    • Work with data from multiple sources to develop trusted reporting and analytics.
    • Build and iterate on analytical models, dashboards, or data sets in collaboration with the Power BI Developer.
  • Data Governance and Quality
    • Help ensure consistency and accuracy of key business definitions across reporting and analytics.
    • Support documentation of KPIs, including definitions, formulas, ownership, and rationale.
    • Contribute to a trusted source-of-truth semantic layer in Power BI by collaborating on metric alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Enablement
    • Deliver insights to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and dashboard reviews.
    • Help build a data-driven culture by enabling teams to ask better questions and explore answers using Power BI.
    • Support training and onboarding for teams new to self-service analytics tools.
