Job Overview

We are seeking a senior tax professional to prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file tax returns including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 990.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff for data accuracy and supporting documentation.
  • Review financial reports for compliance and completeness.
  • Communicate professionally with clients via clear emails.
  • Supervise and manage outsourced staff, assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
  • Conduct ongoing tax research to stay current with regulations.
  • Assist with quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax planning.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
  • 2–4 years of tax return preparation experience (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 990).
  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
  • Experience using Soroban or Stanford Tax platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate tasks.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
