Professional Inventory Accountant Wanted

As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the cost of goods sold, inventory demand planning, and assisting clients with ad-hoc pricing/margin analysis.

Additional responsibilities include supporting new client account onboarding and configuring client accounting systems. You will develop strong client relationships through providing timely support and guidance in regularly scheduled client check-ins and day-to-day communication.

Key tasks include managing retail operational accounting, including issuing invoices, reconciling discounts and chargebacks, collecting deposits, and matching accounts receivables. You will also track and manage reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities/expenses, and deferred revenue.

Another important aspect of this role is managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as handling day-to-day client/vendor questions. You will support month-end accounting functions, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger. Additionally, you will assist the Controller in preparing financial reports and analysis for client leadership and coordinating work with external partners and investors.

To excel in this position, you should possess excellent analytical skills and experience with inventory accounting. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, along with relevant accounting and finance experience, is required. Proficiency in ERP systems is essential.
