Job Summary

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C# development and a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications using C#. They will also create new and updated large-scale content websites using the Umbraco CMS system.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. Additionally, the candidate will apply advanced Object-Oriented Programming techniques to create efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Other key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals. The candidate will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner and optimize and maintain MS SQL Server and MongoDB databases to ensure optimal performance.

Finally, the candidate will stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and leverage experience to make informed technical decisions. They will also maintain documentation for code, processes, and technical designs, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and version control procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience working in application development using C#
  • Excellent Object-Oriented Programming skills
  • Experience in MS SQL Server
  • Ability to react well and quickly to frequent project demands and requirement changes
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, able to explain ideas to both technical and non-technical staff
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to lead a team of developers
  • Leverage experience/knowledge to make good technical decisions
