Key Role:

A successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value digital assets and online businesses. They will work closely with sellers to guide them through deal preparation, including reviewing and preparing profit-loss statements.

The goal is to consult with interested buyers, drive negotiations, and close deals. This role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of digital assets and online businesses
  • Provide guidance to sellers on deal preparation, including financial statement review and preparation
  • Consult with potential buyers, facilitate negotiations, and achieve successful deal closures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for deal management, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Prioritize active buyer interest while supporting sellers' needs
  • Take on ad-hoc projects that align with strategic objectives, internal initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment Analysis, Self-Serve Brokerage, or similar roles
  • Proven track record working with companies based in Australia or the United States
  • Background in finance or accounting (Certified Accountant/CPA preferred)
  • Experience in business brokerage, investment banking, or consulting with a revenue focus
  • Previous sales experience in finance or technology industries, particularly SaaS
  • Strong sales acumen, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and commercial insight
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Gmail, and Zoom
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a natural relationship builder
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a passion for entrepreneurship and digital innovation
