About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing data visualization tools that empower public-sector and non-profit leaders to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, excellent data-wrangling skills, and a passion for developing high-quality, user-friendly visualizations. They will leverage Power BI (and occasionally Tableau) to transform raw information into compelling dashboards and visual stories that clearly communicate trends, insights, and key performance indicators.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with at least three years of experience in data analysis who enjoys working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is motivated by creating impactful tools that support real-world decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and adapting visualization tools that bring together various data sources.
  • Developing clean, reliable data models that are ready for analysis.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a role focused on data analysis including SQL/relational databases.
  • Experience working with data sets in various conditions/formats and which require building relationships across disparate files to create a comprehensive data model.
  • Skilled in cleaning, standardizing, filtering, and transforming data to create datasets ready to be analyzed and displayed graphically.
