Chief Financial Operations Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to serve as the right-hand to the Controller in a fast-paced, lean environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise and business acumen, with the ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Perform month-end closing duties, including creating journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, and analyzing general ledger accounts for significant variances.
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports, supporting management with variance analysis, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of internal financial reporting packages.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in FloQast, ensure resolution of discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or active progress toward CPA.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments preferred but not required.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
- Experience in a multi-client environment, proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
