Job Summary

The Asset and Liability Risk Department Head oversees processes related to identifying and measuring market and liquidity risks in the organization's asset-liability strategy and related activities.

  • Analyze and monitor risks associated with asset-liability mismatches, interest rate fluctuations, and liquidity needs.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for asset-liability risk management to mitigate financial risks including those in new products.
  • Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal control limits.
  • Utilize quantitative models and simulations to forecast and evaluate potential risk scenarios and their impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with other units such as controllership/finance and treasury to ensure integrated risk management in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

As a strategic leader in our organization, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing and mitigating risks associated with asset-liability mismatches, interest rate changes, and liquidity needs;
  2. Developing and enforcing policies and procedures for asset-liability risk management to minimize financial risks;
  3. Preparing and presenting risk management reports to senior management and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and accountability.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a Bank Treasury or Risk role within Asset Liability Management. A strong background in risk management and analytical skills is essential for this position.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.

Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and expertise in the field.
