Job Description

MSTC Multi-Skilled Technical Corporation seeks a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including carpentry, electrical work, painting, plastering, drywalling, plumbing, air conditioning, and mechanical work.
  • Install and wire electrical control, convenience outlets, and lighting systems.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures, replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning, and repairing circuit breaker panels.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints to inform maintenance activities.
  • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on heating and air conditioning systems, as well as various testing equipment.
  • Respond to reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on the building.
  • Test and recommend new maintenance products.
  • Manage incoming work requests.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary, such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
