Job Title: Facade Designer and Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Facade Designer and Estimator. This role involves working closely with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing shop drawings, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and using specialized facade software such as AutoCAD and Logikal.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems
  • Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations
  • Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specs
  • Use specialized software to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems
  • Skilled in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
